キックオフ！

7/27はキックオフ。キガリ市内にあるTelecom Houseに向かいます。Rwanda's Minister of Youth and ICTを迎え緊張感も高まります。DOTのWilson司会のもとキックオフが開催されました。Jean Philbert, Rwanda's Minister of Youth and ICTをはじめ、Women EmpowermentのIbuto FundationのGM、IBMのNiger(COO of  IBM East Africa)などの皆さんのエグゼクティブスピーチが行われました。また、その中で、簡単に、今回のRwanda1チームの３つの活動について概要説明を実施しました。

午後は一旦ホテルに戻り、夕方のRNP(Rwanda National Police)との打ち合わせの最終確認を実施しました。16時から2時間今回の活動の目的や、スコープ、アプローチなどを話し、お客様の期待を確認しました。また明日以降関連部門のキーステークホルダーの方にお話を伺うためのリクエストをし、快く受けてもらえました。

 We went to Telecom House in Kigali city to join IBM CSC kickoff session. We are excited because we can meet Jean Philbert, Rwanda's Minister of Youth and ICT in the session. He has been leading harnessing young people power and ICT in Rwanda. Wilson took a facilitater. In the session, we had executive speech from Jean, Niger, and GM for Ibuto fundation. After that Kiran, Doug, Erica explained about the overview of sub team activity briefly.

 

In the afternoon, sub team2 went back to hotel and had a preparation for the meeting at 4PM. We went to RNP Head Quarter, and had a discussion with Elli and Emanuel from RNP. We talked about objective, scope, approach, and request. There was a great session.
